Have a Super Tuesday!
Times like this I miss being in America or more specifically D.C. Monday, the superbowel, made me miss the south (chicken wings, tailgating and superbowel parties at Guilford) and now I am homesick for political hype. I have never felt more out of the loop...although I guess that's what I technically am (the loop being America) I can only imagine everyone wearing buttons, drinking coffee, buzzing around and how busy and blocked off the whole place is. Over here most people ask me about whether I think Obama or Clinton will win not even acknowledging that there is the whole rebublican problem to deal with. Everyone vote for me and vote doubley (I think the republicans owe us a few votes from the last election 2 elections). Bush+Dick= Fucked...but not for long!!

Yes, Super Tuesday is really exciting, but also nervous making. Neither Dad nor I could sleep last night. California won't be counted until Wed. morning and that's a really important state. We are not voting until Feb. 12, the Potomac Tuesday, not that DC matters a much of a much. I can't remember an election (except for 68)when so much was at stake. Ma.
Izzy accompanied me to the voting booth this morning and screamed in delight when we pushed the little levers together (obviously Brooklyn is not electronic yet). The old ladies working the polls exclaimed- "A little Democrat".
ohmygod...alison that is the cutest thing i have ever heard!
