Brenna - thanks for keeping this blog. It is an awesome reminder of my time there. Everything you have said is mirror of my experience in Scotland. Right down to a picture on that same carousel in Edinburgh at Christmas...and, of course, the drunkys on the train trying to pick up cute American girls. Enjoy your time there. It is such a generous and warm country...and don't forget to spend a good bit of time in Glasgow. Also try to make it up north (maybe when it is warmer) to Isle of Mull, Fionphort (sp?), and Iona. Rock it girl, for us old married ladies! Your cousin...Lauren
I am an ex-pat living in Edinburgh...this site is mostly for my family and friends but anyone is welcome to read it.
My spelling and grammer is terrible and in every way a reflection of my mother, an english teacher. The statements in this blog are meant to be heavily sarcastic, if you can not take a joke- don't read it.
