Anna Franke

While in Amsterdam I went to the Anne Frank house. I have been to the holacaust museaum and I didn't really expect to be moved in the way that I was. All of her posters were still on the walls and they had actual copies of the journal. You entered the museaum through the staircase beneath a book shelf. I sat down and spent most of the day in a coffee shop writing in my real journal ,which I have neglected since adopting this blog, watching Dutch roll by on their bikes with bagged baguettes in baskets and a babies bobbing in the back seat. It was a remarkable day.

Below is the staircase that goes up to the annex, the board game that Peter recieves for his birthday, and Anne's dollhouse.

I loved that museum too, it was like the book came to life!
